Summer Flower Share

from $210.00

Summer is here! The trees are gloriously green, and full, and slow dancing in the breeze. The air is sweet and warm. Bathing suits, beers, and new books adorn the banks of secret swim spots. And while we play and bask in this sublime natural world, the luna moths, bumble bees, and butterflies move about without tire or care. They’re doing their most important work, unnoticed and unseen, from which all is born and comes to life. This little slice of bucolic beauty can be brought into your home all summer long when you join The Edge of Wild Farm Summer Flower CSA.

New this season… The Edge of Wild “Pick-Your-Own” Farm at WTDiner, where I will be offering for the first time a U-Pick CSA! Come to the farm, grab a delicious bite, and pick your own to bring home. We’ll talk flowers, and I’ll teach you how to cut them, all while hanging at the farm, drinking beer and relaxing amongst the blooms and the pollinators.

I will once again be offering the “bucket” of flowers option, which provides a bit more flowers than the sweet, beautiful bouquet. If you love to design in all of your favorite vases and pepper your home with lots of flowers, this is the perfect option for you.

Any flower share option makes great holiday, birthday, Mother’s/Father’s Day gift!

THE NITTY GRITTY

-Summer is busy, and partaking in a CSA should not hinder your vacation plans, or vise versa! You will be allotted 2 weeks only in which you can bump your share to an earlier or later week. And of course there are also times when unforeseen things happen, but when possible, I do ask that you do try and give 24 hours notice if you are unable pickup. You may of course gift to a friend and have them pick up in your place. If for whatever reason you do not show, and there is no contact, your flowers cannot be held, and instead will be donated.

-If you are purchasing as a gift, first off, you are an amazing and thoughtful gift giver! Please be sure to include the recipient’s name, number, and email. Please confirm that the recipient also has my information and is aware of all the fine deets.

-Please be on the lookout for emails and updates as spring approaches! Make sure my emails won’t go into your spam box.

-Unfortunately, I am UNABLE to give refunds once the purchase has been made. As I expressed about the importance and role the CSA plays, the money from these share purchases are used quickly to help fund the farm as we move into the season. If you can no longer partake in the CSA, please consider gifting to a friend, to the Taghkanic Community Fridge, or another donation center.
